Open Day at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet

Balloons!

Dancing dolls!

A dreamcastle that all the kids made together. My girl did the star tower on the left. Open Day offers a possibility to do handicrafts, and this is something my daughter really looked forward to.

Opera for the toddlers, The Barber of Seville. These toddler opera's are a great idea, but I don't like how the dramaturgist are clearly dedicated to make them enjoyable for parents too, and add jokes that only grown ups can understand. More music, less "funny" jokes, please!

We love the Open Day at the Opera, but so do many others. Queing is not fun with toddlers, and managing the crowds is something there is room to improve.
